Gabriel Villegas - Executive Director / Playwright
Bio
Gabriel Villegas is an accomplished educator, playwright, and Executive Producer with more than 20 years of experience in both the federal government of the United States and as a Spanish professor at various universities. He is currently completing his Doctoral studies at the University of Central Florida, focusing on the use of performing arts for second language acquisition. His research examines how theater, film, and other performing arts can serve as powerful pedagogical tools, helping learners acquire language while deepening their cultural understanding and fostering social change.
Gabriel holds a Master’s degree in Arts in Spanish, specializing in Spanish Literature, and has spent his career blending academic rigor with artistic creativity. His passion for education extends beyond traditional classroom teaching. Through his work in both the public and academic sectors, he has impacted countless students by integrating the performing arts into language acquisition, which he believes strengthens cultural ties and enhances learning experiences. Gabriel’s work emphasizes not only bilingualism but also how artistic expression can foster empathy, critical thinking, and social awareness.
As a playwright, Gabriel is known for his versatility and innovation. He has written numerous original works, including Don Quijote en USA, Don Quijote vs. Bad Bunny, Don Quijote Soy, Me casé por papeles, Verde Luz, Inglés con Barreras, El Rey del Café, Las Dos Fridas, and Miss Venezuela. These plays reflect his creative exploration of cultural identity, social issues, and the fusion of traditional and contemporary themes. Gabriel is also renowned for his adaptations of literary classics, such as Un Cuento de Navidad (by Charles Dickens), El Médico a Palos (by Molière), and La Vida es Sueño (by Calderón de la Barca), each reimagined to resonate with modern audiences while maintaining the integrity of the original works.
Gabriel’s contributions extend beyond his plays. As the founder of Teatro for the Soul and the Orlando Performing Arts Conservatory, he has created spaces dedicated to nurturing and empowering aspiring artists. His conservatory has trained over 75 actors in just two years, emphasizing artistic excellence, collaboration, and the importance of education in the performing arts. Through these institutions, he provides mentorship and resources to emerging talent, with a focus on the integration of theater and audiovisual arts to elevate cultural discourse.
In addition to his creative work, Gabriel is an approved service provider for several school districts, including Orange, Osceola, and Seminole, where he has integrated the arts into educational programs. Through these partnerships, he uses theater and film as vehicles for language learning and social development. His commitment to blending education with creative arts continues to inspire both students and audiences, helping to bridge cultural gaps and encourage critical reflection on important social issues.

Wilderman García - Artistic Director / Actor
Ángel Sepúlveda - Producing Director / Actor
Bio
Angel Sepúlveda is a distinguished Emmy Award-winning News Director and Executive Producer with over 20 years of unparalleled experience in entertainment, news, and media management across both Latino and general markets. His extensive expertise includes live events production, documentaries, and digital content creation, enabling him to develop and distribute multi-platform content in more than 18 countries worldwide. With a proven track record of successful collaborations with brands and advertising agencies that have generated millions of dollars, Angel is an invaluable asset to any news media organization.
In addition to his comprehensive media experience, Angel has specialized in live events production for over 20 years, ensuring high-quality execution and audience engagement. He previously served as Vice President of Programming for Terra US & Latin America, where he led groundbreaking coverage of significant events such as presidential elections and the Olympics for Latin America, reaching over 15 territories in multiple languages, including Spanish, English, and Portuguese. This role positioned him at the forefront of delivering the most extensive online coverage in the U.S. Hispanic Market.
Following his transformative tenure at Terra, Angel joined Telemundo National News to cover pivotal historical events before becoming the Regional News Director for Noticias Univision in Orlando and Tampa Bay from 2017 to 2021. Currently, he is the Communications Director at Alianza Center and Alianza for Progress, focusing on empowering the Latino community in Central Florida through impactful programs and information. He also leads his media consulting firm, Sepulveda x2 Enterprises, LLC, where he continues to enhance production and media management initiatives.
Angel resides in Winter Park, Florida, where his influence and dedication to media excellence resonate deeply within the community.
Jerry Millán - Finance and Audit Chair / Actor
Bio
Mr. Millán is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in film, television, theater, and live events production. As an accomplished actor, theater director, host, and teacher, he is also a seasoned live events and film producer. In addition, he is a certified professional organizational coach and serves as an organizational wellness manager (CHO).
Mr. Millán holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Drama from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, and a Master's degree in Education specializing in the Teaching of Fine Arts, with a focus on Theater from SUAGM in Puerto Rico. He is also a graduate of the International Coaching Institute of Puerto Rico (ICIPR).
With over 20 years of pedagogical experience in the Puerto Rico Department of Education, Mr. Millán has played a key role in developing curricula for specialized schools in Theater Arts and Cinematography. He boasts more than 35 years of experience in the performing arts, excelling as an actor, director, and technical theatrical producer. Notable productions in his career include "Fuente Ovejuna," "Arlequín Servidor de Dos Amos," "Esclava de un Infierno," and "El Médico a Palos."
In the film industry, Mr. Millán has contributed to a variety of projects, including short films, feature films, series, and commercials, with significant works such as "P i n," "Cara de Mujer," "Extraterrestre," and "Los Reyes de la Salsa." His extensive experience in live events ensures high-quality productions and memorable experiences for audiences.
Currently, he serves as the Director of Art, Culture, and Education at Alianza Center and is an active member of the Teatro for The Soul Company.
