With over 25 years of theatrical experience, Wilderman García is a distinguished Colombian actor. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts from the University of Caldas in Manizales, where he specialized in Theater. A prodigy of the stage, García has performed in more than 300 theatrical plays since the age of six.
After graduating high school, he moved to Bogota, expanding his artistic career into television and film. His exceptional talent was recognized when he was awarded the prestigious Einstein Visa (EB1-A) by USCIS for his extraordinary ability in the arts. In 2023, he was honored with the Best Actor award at the Madrid Film Awards.
Currently serving as the Artistic Director of the Orlando Conservatory for the Performing Arts, García brings unparalleled knowledge, passion, and stage presence to Don Quijote en USA. His performance is a masterful blend of engagement and artistic craftsmanship.
Gabriel Villegas, Playwright
Gabriel Villegas is an accomplished educator, playwright, and Executive Producer with more than 20 years of experience in both the federal government of the United States and as a Spanish professor at various universities. He is currently completing his Doctoral studies at the University of Central Florida, focusing on the use of performing arts for second language acquisition. His research examines how theater, film, and other performing arts can serve as powerful pedagogical tools, helping learners acquire language while deepening their cultural understanding and fostering social change.
Gabriel holds a Master’s degree in Arts in Spanish, specializing in Spanish Literature, and has spent his career blending academic rigor with artistic creativity. His passion for education extends beyond traditional classroom teaching. Through his work in both the public and academic sectors, he has impacted countless students by integrating the performing arts into language acquisition, which he believes strengthens cultural ties and enhances learning experiences.
